Budget Proposal

SL. NO. INVENTORIES JUSTIFICATION BUDGET

1. PA Systems We need good speakers inside the music 1,00,000/-

room to monitor what we are playing. The
current speakers are only good for solo
practice and not for a band.

2. Synthesizer A Synthesizer is one of the most basic 80,000/-

requirements for any band or music club.
Most of the second-generation IITs do have a
synth, but we don’t have one currently.

3. In Ear The use of IEMs will enable us to avoid the 16,000/-

Monitors(IEMs use of stage monitors in the Audi and provide
) a much cleaner sound for the audience.

4. Drum Mics We have received feedback that the drums 60,000/-

don’t sound as good as they should. For this,
we need to use mics that are tailored for
drums.

5. DI Boxes These interfaces are inevitable for noiseless 80,000/-

output from very loud instruments such as
electric guitars.

6. Guitar Stands Due to the unavailability of sufficient guitar 3,000/-

stands, we are forced to keep guitars on the
floor sometimes, which adds to the
malfunctioning of the instrument, which is
very undesirable for us to perform as artists.

7. Cables Most of the cables that we use for the music 7,000/-
club do not give a clean output; they are
worn out and, hence, sometimes don’t work.
We only have a very few completely working
cables, and hence we require them for the
club.

8. Decoration for We won’t require any budget to conduct the 5,000/-

Events event, but to make that event look better, we
need some budget for decoration purposes.

Some Issues Regarding Music Room:
● Limiting access to the music room - We have faced some issues in the music room,
such as people other than members coming to the music room without permission
and then leaving instruments here and there, henceforth creating a mess in the
music room. The Music Club will hand over a list of members to the guards at LHC so
that they only allow club members to enter the room, and all the members should
show their ID cards on the phone to the guards. If students other than club members
want to use the music room, they must get permission via mail from the music club.

● Housekeeping - We want regular housekeeping in the music room (at least once a
week) so that cleanliness and hygiene can be maintained inside the room.
