Quality

Ethical Religious Quality

(Quality Means Doing It Right when no one is looking)
Ethics is Matters to build the right Quality as because Ethics is the foundation for right judgment. The
philosophy of ethics is to take the right decision/religious decision when no one is looking /watching.
Ethics create value and respect, Ethics build trust, Ethics generate ability to make customer
satisfaction.

Let’s see an example at late night(2am) and I am passing the road without maintaining the required
tariff signal red signal, I violate the traffic rules as there are no traffic control police, there is no CCTV.
Is this action of mine good or bad what you think? Even after there is no one, I need to follow the rules
that are called ethics.

Ethical Quality and Religious report:

When it comes to Quality Function, here it means the activities that we are doing (evaluation and
reporting) in absence of our Client that must be fair and credible. What we committed to client that
must delivery are the same. Do the right work/things even no one is watching you/looking you.

Most of the cases when our Client / auditors are visiting the factory, we find that what we are
committed and what we are practically doing are not the same. As a result, client doesn’t Trust to us.

Let’s see one examples:

Inspection report
When the Client visited on the ground found there was lots of puckering but when going back to the
real time “QI report”, found there it is missing /puckering not stated on the “QI report”. QI make a fake
report for Buyer. But If we look into the intention of Buyer to make “QI report” is that responsible QI
will highlight the real defect Quantity and responsible LQC will analyse the data and do a real time
action plan on the spot to control the defect.

Based on the above scenario, If I asked you a Question “the report which was made by QI ethical?”
Who is responsible for this unethical practice? Is this person being QI? NO, this is management failure
to understand the ethics. So let's come out from this type of Unethical practice and make a true report
and do a true action plan against the defect which will be highlighted on the report in an ethical way.
