DATE : APRIL 1

DAY 1

Today is my first day of work immersion/OJT with my friends and classmates at RMJ Salon
and Spa. We arrived at 9 a.m. at RMJ Salon and Spa. Gel greeted us, seated us, introduced
herself, and we also introduced ourselves. She pointed to where the massage room and salon
were, and then our boss also came. He talked to us; we introduced ourselves, and he talked
while waiting for our teacher. Besides, our teacher came to talk, took a picture, and said
goodbye to leave. After a while, one of our companions also came and taught us massage and
then how to do eyelash extensions.

DAY 2

We came in early, around 7:30; I cleaned up, and we made up the bed. Then it was lunch
time, and we cooked with my partner or friend eggplant and pakbet because our massage
teacher aunt Donna had arrived. She brought vegetables, so she cooked them for us so we
could have lunch. After lunch and after we ate, he taught us little by little the 2-in-1 massage.

 DAY 3

We cleaned up those that were assigned to us. In the afternoon, we practiced massage again
with my partner, and the massage instructor watched over us to teach us what we lacked and
what was wrong with massage.

DAY 4

On the fourth day after cleaning, I oversee the receptionist, so if clients come, I will assess
them. Then, after lunch, she taught us how to do foot spa. I tried it, and then after that, we
practiced the massage.

DAY 5

We change the bed sheets and wash them; after we wash them, we practice how we assess
when there is a client. After practicing how to assess the clients, we practice the massage
again while waiting for them to come. In the afternoon, the washed clothes were dry; we
folded them and put them in the right place.

DAY 6

When we entered, we cleaned up the salon and massage room, and then we practiced
massage. After lunch, we practiced again how to assess a client’s vital signs, and then after
that, we practiced stretching.

Day 7

When we entered, we cleaned up the things that were needed; I cleaned CR. Then we did
a foot spa; I was the first, then my partner followed me, and I did a foot spa too to her feet
because our boss told us that me and my partners and friends were doing foot spas.

Day 8
After we cleaned up, we practiced massage again because our boss said we should massage
him to see what we learned from the 2-in-1 massage. After lunch, Aunt Donna said I
pedicured her toenails.

Day 9

I cleaned up at the receptionist, and then I was assigned to the receptionist again, so if
a client comes, I will assess him or her. In the afternoon, Che taught us how to eyelash lift. I
tried to tell my partner, but she finished, so I followed her because I wanted to try.

 Day 10

We change the bed, and we make it. After we cleaned, our massage teacher said that we
should practice massage so that he can teach us what is missing in a 2-in-1 massage. then
after lunch, I had a client's couple. I massaged the female client, so I applied everything I
knew about 2-in-1 massage, and after I massaged her, I said the dos and don'ts, and then I left
her. When they came out, he called me and gave me a tip.

Day 11

After cleaning the salon and massage room, Ate Che taught us how to massage the head
and face. After that, we celebrated Ate Che's birthday, so we cooked together with my friends
and partners. After cooking, we ate, and while eating, we talked to each other. After eating,
we go back to the salon for the clients to come.

Day 12

We changed the bed, and I washed the towels. After washing the towels and bed, I
massaged Tita Donna for the final grades. After lunch, we had a quiz. So, one of the staff
members said that we need to review the lectures that she tackled in the past few days
because we have an exam. So after she informed us that we needed to review because we had
an exam, we reviewed what she tackled while waiting for her to give our exam. After review,
she distributes our exam, and we begin to answer our test papers. After answering all the
questions, the questions, she collects them. Our scores will be announced tomorrow morning,
and the result is not bad because we all got passing scores.

Day 13

I washed the towels and bed use. In the afternoon, we were practicing massage with
each other while waiting for clients to come.

Day 14

I am again to assign for the receptionist. After lunch, we had two clients, so we massaged
them. After we massaged, we went out, and they went out too. We talked while waiting for
the mix they delivered for us.

Day 15

Tita Donna taught us how to do foot spa massage, so I tried and massaged my partner.
Then in the afternoon, we practice again the 2-in-1 massage.

What we washed was already dry, so we took it from the clothesline and folded it.

Friday, we change the bed and wash the bed sheets and towels. In the afternoon, we were
practicing massage with each other while waiting for clients to come.

Day 18

Our boss has a plan to surprise Adela on her birthday, so he told us to come to the salon. Our
boss said to leave my friends behind to cook our food, and I would go with him to buy a cake.
Then we arranged all the food for Adela's birthday to surprise her; after surprise her, we ate,
and in the afternoon, we said goodbye to our boss and the staff of RMJ Salon and Spa.

Day 19

Day 19, after cleaning the salon and massage room, I practiced the 2-in-1 massage for
an hour because I was the second massager to our boss for final grades. I applied all the
sequence I learned from the past training of our massage, and when I’m done with the
massage, he gives me a grade, and I thank him.

Day 20

Today is our last day of work immersion in the RMJ salon and spa. We cleaned, and after
lunch I’m watching how to rebond. After that, Che called me to stretch her, and then after
that it’s time to go home, so we said goodbye to our boss and those who were with us there.
That’s all for our immersion in RMJ Salon and Spa in 20 days and 160 hours.
