Shunting Operation (at Station ,A,

) :

The Block HANDLES are put to normal position

both at St.A & B.
St. A calls St.B to obtain authqrization
over the telephone.

After the SM Key has been turned, the sH

Key is turned & pured out
to be handed over the driver of a shunting
train. The brock is rocked at
this time. The SM Key is pulled out,
Upon finishing a shunting
operation, the SH Key is turneC to the
STATION MASTER. Who, after
inspecting & turning the SM Key inserts
the SH Key & turns it to
normal position, notifying st.B over the
terephone ta that effect.

Telephone Circuit :
While FM signal F.1 or FZ is being transmitted
or received telephone
circuit is isolated from signal Line. While
telephone is Used, Tx & Rx
are isorated from the Line. To exprain in
deta', terephone relay, TELR
is inserted in series connection with relays,
CR1 (Ag,A7), CR2 (AB,A7),
& TQLR (DB,D7) in the circuit. Also, TELR (10,Q2)
is connected in
series with the telephone circuit. Thus,
telephone circuit is isotated
from signal circuit while FM signal is transrnitted/
received, Tx/Rx is
isolated from signal line while telephone is
used.
