JOB/ POSITION SUMMARY:

Under close supervision perform work as assigned while referring non-routine matters to Senior Planning Engineer.
Principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to, participating in preparation of work breakdown structure,
planning cash package, preparing resource histograms, prepare activities percent completion, and/or carry out other
related activities as assigned.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS (Key Result Areas)


1) Study the tender requirements and participate in preparation of tender stage construction schedule using basic
information available from tender drawings, BOQ’s & project specifications.
2) Coordinate with Site Planning Engineers to receive reports and documents related to onsite activities of projects
such as labor transfer and hiring documents, labor time sheets, material usage report, etc.
3) Ensure conformity and accuracy of such reports and documents against policies and procedures and submit them
to Senior Planning Engineer for review.
4) Prepare logical flow of activities identifying critical path method (CPM) and determine critical activities involved in a
project.
5) Draft / modify detail time schedule for projects and prepare resource histograms of labors, materials, equipment,
etc.
6) Provide technical input in preparing budgets and analyze contracts and/or purchase orders, real quantities used in
projects, saving / delaying time impact on project, and other possible areas for determining and reporting
variances.
7) May assist Senior Planning Engineer for preparation of cash inflow and outflow plan.
8) Perform other duties of a comparable level as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor degree in engineering curriculum from a college or university.


RELATED EXPERIENCE:

 Minimum five (5) years of related work experience.


 Essential hands-on Computer skills.
 Fluency in English and/or Arabic language.
