All works shall comply with BS:7671 17th edition of IEE

wiring regulations. Sample of items shall be submitted
in advance for Engineer’s approval. Note

All wiring shall be done in concealed conduits as and

Contractor shall submit conduit layouts / plans for the

approval of the Engineer before laying of conduits. Note

Minimum diameter of pvc electrical conduits shall be

one inch and if exposed ¾ inch for GI conduits. Note

Locations of Lamp Fittings, Switches, Socket Outlets,

and Bulk Power Points are indicated in the drawings. Note

All MCCBs, MCBs shall be of reputed brand, preferably

Schneider, ABB or Telemechanic. Note

All Surface Mounted and Flush Mounted Panel

Enclosures shall be of reputed brand preferably of KIK,
Magline or Illukkummbura Note

All cables shall be of reputed brands preferably "Kaleni"

or "ACL". Note

Ceiling/wall fans shall be of reputed brands preferably

"KDK" or "PANASONIC". Note

Wiring shall be measured net as shown on the GFC /

As built drawings without any additional leverage for
loose cables. The unit rate shall include all necessary
loose wiring required for the works in switch boards /
junctions / bends / curves / circles and end
terminations etc Note

No taped joints are permitted and reliable connectors

(3M) can be used only where it is absolutely essential. Note

Proper earthing of Electrical appliances is essential to

the main earth and this includes metal fittings, metal
framed signboards etc.. Note

The contractor should submit the originals of the

warranty and guarantee documents in the handing over
