Many elderly people are no longer looked after by their families but are put in care homes

or nursing homes. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this trend?

One of the most feared topics to think of is aging because it cannot be taken over, for that reason,
many elder people end in nursing homes. Within these care homes, some elderly individuals
benefit from expert care and medical services, while others confront emotional challenges and
detachment from families. This duality forms a central theme for the discussion.

Care homes provide professional care and medical attention that are attached to residents
receiving full-time monitoring, access to treatments, controlled medication and all this essencial
care is provided by skilled staff which sometimes is not available into elder houses. Moreover,
placing elder people in nursing homes can supply relief for families improving their care
conditions because many families find themselves unable to give the proper senior requirement
needed for several reasons. In addition, these places count with specialized equipment and
trained personnel to offer a sense of safety and security for elder residents. For example, elder
people who suffer from Alzheimer are always under controlled caring.

Despite what was mentioned above, nursing homes also come with certain disadvantages. Elder
people in these places may experience emotional impact, such as loneliness. Being away from
their familiar environment can lead to feelings like isolation and depresion, affecting their well
being. Additionally, detachment from family is another significant disadvantage of carehomes,
since the separation from their beloved ones can result in some cases in mental unestability
causing a sense of disconnection between their families and in the end feeling forgotten.
Furthermore, some residents in care homes may also experiment a loss of autonomy, for
example, having to adhere to the schedules and rules of the place, could reduce their sense of
independence and the control over their own lives.

In conclusion, while these establishments offer professional care , medical attention, and
specialized resources that can alleviate familial burdens and ensure optimal support, they also
introduce emotional challenges such as feelings of loneliness, detachment from loved ones, and a
potential loss of autonomy. Recognizing these complexities is crucial in navigating the decision-
making process, emphasizing the need for holistic approaches that prioritize the well-being and
dignity of the elderly population.

In recent decades, old people are likely to be looked after in many facilities such as aged care
and nursing homes rather than taking care of family's hands around the world. There are some
benefits and drawbacks to this view and I will discuss this issue by using examples to
demonstrate points.

Firstly, putting elders into government infrastructure is proven to be advantageous in regards to

happiness and satisfaction levels for both family carers and elderly people. A fundamental reason
is that being looked after by professional people who expertise in the hospitality sector is more
likely to improve their health conditions as well as mental care. For instance, as government
encourage most citizens to put elders into care systems in South Korea, the circumstance enables
them to enhance overall aspects of health conditions by having less mental stress. Thus, this kind
of trend should be considered positively, due to these beneficial facts.

On the other hand, it cannot be denied that numerous disadvantages exist when they hand over to
other people's hands. They are undoubtedly fragile to control their emotional feeling such as
loneliness and sadness and an experiment proves that when individuals get aged, feelings are
strengthened than the other days. For example, since they feel as if they are abandoned and
forbidden from their own houses, a number of elders who couldn't overcome feelings tend to
decide to suicide in aged care centres in China. Therefore, it could cause dangerous and
detrimental situations by borrowing others' hands to take care of their grandparents.

In conclusion, while there are some benefits of the usage of aged care and nursing homes,
drawbacks to this view also exist which could lead to severe situations. Well synthesising of the
ways to look after by family or expertise should be considered prudently by governments and
families.

Nowadays many elderly people ere no longer looked after by their families but are put in care
home or nursing home. This essay will describe advantages and disadvantages of this trend.

One of its pros is 24/7 check. In such places nurces and doctors look after them whole day and
night, so if one elderly person feels sick or faints, there will be doctors, which can quickly help
that individual. So from that side it's very safe for such people be there, because they know that
they have people that will rescue them even when their childs can't do it.

But every good thing have bad side too, and care homes have cons too. For example, the lack of
loved ones around. Although it is possible for friends and relatives to visit nursing home
residents, these visits can be infrequent, and loneliness is often the consequence. To make
matters worse, it has been shown that those who are lonely are at greater risk of becoming
depressed and having their immune system weakened. Furthermore, care home residents are
often surrounded by illness and death. Such an environment is likely to curtail happiness and
trigger severe depression.

In conclusion, I think even how great care home and nursing homes weren't, elderly people
should live at home near to their children and friends.
