extensive experience and expertise in compliance management, I am confident in my ability to effectively carry out the
responsibilities associated with this role.

In my previous role as a Compliance Officer at a reputable organization which I demonstrated on my CV, I

successfully conducted comprehensive testing of internal controls, focusing on high risk areas. I meticulously

documented the weaknesses identified during the assessment process and provided actionable recommendations to

address these weaknesses, resulting in improved compliance and mitigated risks.

Additionally, I have excellent communication and teaching skills, which I have used to effectively disseminate

ensured full compliance with LLG and donor policies and requirements, thereby fostering a culture of adherence and

minimizing compliance risks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Interview project staff and where possible, direct beneficiaries and relevant community members to
gather additional qualitative information on outputs and outcomes.
 Asses the level of stakeholder engagement by the implementing partner in the respective district.
 Examine the beneficiary targeting and registration process and verification of selected beneficiaries.
 Determine whether the project addresses the needs as perceived by the community and local
authorities.
 Asses and verify the up-to-date accomplishment against the anticipated plans and targets and districts
identified for third party monitoring activities.
 Assess accessibility and project resources for all targeted beneficiaries of all socio-economic
characteristics including disabilities and persons with special needs.

 Validate accomplishments reported by sub-grantees, line ministries and other stakeholders
participating in the project implementation.
 Examine the process followed to engage the targeted communities and district stakeholders including
local authorities.
 Evaluate the procedures put in place to capture and address community enquiries.
 Determine the level of integration of the project among the projects and with other projects supported
by different donors and organisations in the same districts.
 Assess implementation strengths and gaps based on observations made and responses from
stakeholders, derive lessons and suggest recommendations.

3. From Sep 2020 To September 2021 worked with (MCAN) Marginalized Communities
Advocacy Network as FSL Officer in Muqdisho.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Ensure implementation of project activities in line with the organizational project plans and
objectives and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Project.
 Closely work with the local authority and community leaders on the proper implementation of the
project activities.
 Conduct baseline needs assessment and identify vulnerable target beneficiaries based on the facts
in the field.
 Be involved in the community mobilization and awareness of the project goals and objectives and
ensure the smooth running of the activities.
 In consultation with the food security project manager and executive director, draw up work plans
and ensure distribution of FSL assistance to target groups.
 Facilitate adoption of livelihood resilience innovations such as sustainable rain fed dry land
farming, improved irrigated farming, and sustainable income generating alternatives, bee keeping
and livestock management.
 Develop and oversee the logistical and transportation needs of FSL activities and provide updated
progress reports regularly to the project manager and head of programs.
 Work closely with the Targeted communities and resolve any conflicts that may arise during the
project implementation.
 Perform any other duties related to the project as required by the FSL project manager and head of
programs.

4. From March 2019 to Sep 2020 worked with AVORD as CCM/FSL/WASH assistant.

 Conduct Field based needs assessment and consolidate the information for planning and
implementing CCM/FSL/WASH project activities.
 Translate field assessment findings into feasible and relevant project proposals.
 Protection mainstreaming; promoting of and adhering to prevention of sexual exploitation and
abuse policy and guidelines for site residents, AVORD staff, and partners.
 Act as a primary link between the assigned target community and AVORD Somalia
 Liaise with local community leaders, civil society groups and local authorities about the
identification and prioritization of the community needs with the elected task forces
respectively in establishing point of contacts with all target communities (i.e. community entry)
 Organizing and facilitating monthly Community meetings in project implementation briefing
status and mitigating potential conflicts.
 Assist in the undertaking of conflict analysis of the targeted communities.
 Undertaking Focus Group Discussions with targeted segment of the communities of Bayou.
 Undertaking monitoring activities of the target section of the town.
 Responsible for the timely and quality compilation of data collected from the sections of the
town.
 Monitor the daily project activities in the particular section assigned and provide feed-back to
Project Officers.
 Prepare weekly/monthly reports and share on time with the assigned project officer.
 Assist in the archiving, development and documentation of the entire project related documents
and records.
 Constantly advocate and promote AVORD project / programme objectives and goals.
 Analyse project needs as the project evolves, share challenges and best practices to the project
officer(s) for adoption and consideration.
