Nice cups and saucers

Arrived with my husband to have afternoon tea. To my
complete surprise we were placed in what can only be
described as a corridor. As soon as you walk in the door
of the hotel there's an area to the left and this is where
we were expected to seat to have our afternoon tea. I
immediately asked to be moved to inside the restaurant
area so that we could have proper size and height
tables. I am not in the habit of leaning forward all the
time to eat my meals, so uncomfortable.

Anyway, we were placed inside the main restaurant and

from then on things got much better. We both felt
happier and the service was second to none. We got
really good service from Aziza who was our waitress for
the whole time were there. She was charming, friendly,
professional and absolutely lovely to be around.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the food too.

Delicious! One of the open sandwiches which I wasn't
too sure about turned out to be the nicest tasting. It had
caviar on top and I have not had caviar before but the
sandwich was really good. The cakes were nice but the
best thing was the scones with Jam and Cream - they
were warm and delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed
them - it's particularly poignant as I don't usually like
scones but these were really nice.

Afternoon tea
We arranged Afternoon Tea for three of us ( aunt, my
sister and me)...after reading some reviews, we were a
little nervous...well that was blown out of the water....the
service, sta! and food was AMAZING.....we actually
couldn't finish it all ( freshly made sandwiches with
amazing fillings...and the most delicious
crouqette).when asked sta! if we could take it home it
boxes...the reply was 'certainly' ( they were busy but
found the time to box up our remaining treats)....a big
thank you to all the sta!..we will be back..Sarah

Afternoon Tea - Andaz Hotel, Liverpool

Street, London
This Monday we booked for the Afternoon Tea at the
Andaz Hotel. We were met by Evalina, who showed us
where to sit, whilst she then got everything ready. We
chatted for a while, and then she showed us the
Afternoon Tea, plus a bottle of Prosecco and tea and
co!ee were also served. We enjoyed the food, and also
the Prosecco !!! The seated area was comfortable, and
my wife said that the ladies toilets were immaculate.
After a while, we slipped away, and thanked Evelina for
her hospitality. This is highly recommended.
