The Worlds a Stage, so does it hurt to pretend?

The world is a stage and we all enter it with hope of becoming the next
Shakespeare or the next Judi Rench. We all come here to play our roles which
change with different timelines. One day we are infants playing ludo and snake
& ladders with our siblings and soon become grown men and women with a
job to worry for, a family to care for. Life is conundrum of esoterica. But the
twist here is that there is no particular script to be followed, every character
writes his own story.
So, does it hurt to pretend?
Pretending in the world is nothing but lying to your own self. Pretending is
going against your conscious aware of the facts. It makes your character lose
its value, eventually becoming hollow and losing your individuality which is
needed for you to stand out in the crowd of millions. Without one’s
personality, we are not different than any other Tom, Dick and Harry. Unlike
other stages this stage doesn’t have an audience with their eyes on you 24/7,
it’s your show, you act for your self-accomplishments, not to impress your
critics or to earn some quick cash in box offices.
Be yourself and have fun and enjoy the stage time you have got.
