LESSON 2.1 – GOD, THE SON CLF-1

Jesus - the Son of God
- the second person in the Holy Trinity
- sent by God, the Father to save the people and
forgive their sins
- the key to heaven, he leads us to the path to
everlasting life.
- The Way, the Truth and the Life

10 Commandments – rules given by God, the Father to Moses

in the Old Testament, so people can go to heaven.

Jesus sum up the 10 Commandments into two.

Two Greatest Commandment of Jesus

FIRST Greatest Commandment

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind,
with all your strength and with all your soul.”
Example for following this commandment:
• loving God over anything
• going to Church on Sundays
• listening to His words
• praying before eating meal, before sleeping, before traveling

SECOND Greatest Commandment

“Love your neighbors as you love yourself.”

Example for following this commandment:

• Loving others equally
• loving your enemies, the poor, the discriminated, the elders,
• loving everybody.

Remember, we can go to heaven if we believe in Jesus and follow his two

greatest commandments. Not just one but the two greatest commandments.
Loving God above all things and loving others.
