Analyze 6

Answer the following questions:

Are the learning principles applied by the teacher appropriate with the nature of the learners and learning conditions?
Why or why not?

• Whether the instructor’s strategies suit the students and circumstances varies. Teaching that works takes into account
the needs, interests, and learning environment of the pupils.

Did you observe passive learners? If yes, what might be their reasons why they are passive/silent?

• Yes, for a variety of reasons, including shyness, insecurity, feeling overburdened, or not grasping the subject matter,
passive learners may remain silent. They can also worry about the teacher or their peers criticizing or passing
judgment on them.
-

4 If you are the teacher, what possible learning principle(s) and strategy(ies) would you apply to elicit meaningful learning?
• Whether I were a teacher, I would ensure that students were actively engaged in their education by assigning homework,
7
having discussions, and working on projects. In addition, I would use resources like concept maps to assist students in
making connections between concepts and I would pose thought-provoking questions to get them to reflect carefully on
what they were learning.

Reflect

1. Among the principles of learning, which one is the most important for you? Substantiate your answer.

• Among the principles of Learning, the most important to me is Learners master basic and component skills
through practice. Because if you do it every day, it will be memorized first, like in housework when you are
assigned to wash the dishes, it will be easy in the next few days.

2. What insight did you learn from the class activities that you have observed?

• I’ve discovered that active involvement is essential to successful learning while watching a grade 3 class.
When opposed to passive learning approaches, activities that promote engagement and participation
typically improve understanding and retention.
