This study investigates the relationship between the level of alcoholism and the
academic performance of grade 12 caregiving students. Alcoholism among
adolescents is a growing concern that can significantly affect various aspects of their
lives, including their education. The objective of this research is to determine the
extent to which alcohol consumption influences the academic outcomes of students
pursuing caregiving studies in their final year of high school.

The study concludes that alcoholism is a critical factor adversely affecting the
academic performance of grade 12 caregiving students. It emphasizes the need for
targeted interventions and support systems within schools to address alcohol abuse
and promote healthier lifestyles among students. By addressing these issues, educators
and policymakers can help improve the educational outcomes and overall well-being
of caregiving students.
