Media Conglomerate. The television entity ABPN was incorporated in India by
way of a joint-venture between ABP and STAR in 2003, and since then ABPN

2012, ABPN became a fully owned Indian News Broadcast Media Company
and currently has its 5 channels as ABP News (Hindi), ABP Majha (Leading &
first 24 hrs Marathi News Channel), ABP Ananda (Leading & First 24 hrs
Bangla News Channel), ABP Asmita (Leading Gujarati Channel) and ABP
Ganga (Leading UP & Uttarakhand News channel). ABPN also has a
considerable presence in digital platform with news websites in Hindi,
Marathi, Bangla, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu & Punjabi.
As one of India’s leading News Media company, we are looking for high-caliber
candidates to join our Corporate Management Trainee Programme to become
our future leaders. The 12-month Programme is an intensive development
programme combining interactive learning, personal and group coaching and
senior management exposure with on-the-job training. The incumbent will
have an exposure in our key areas of Sales Department :
 Digital Sales/ T.V. Ad Sales
 Brand Solutions and Content
 Knowledge of Digital advertising.

During the course of the training, the incumbent will develop a spectrum of
experience, an open mind and a broad understanding of different nuances of :
 media & content management

The incumbent will be closely working with the Leadership team and Key
Responsibilities will be:
 Understanding of all the digital proposition and assets of ABP Live.
 Creating packages and proposals for clients and agencies.
 Forecasting for the assigned set of clients – as required, based on
potential, past trends & expected revenues.
 Ensure Timely consumption of signed deals and hence achievement of
monthly & quarterly targets.
 Database Management – updated client & agency base with details, as
required.
 Managing paperwork for the respective set of active clients & ensure
error free operations.
 Manage Client & Agency relations for the assigned set of accounts
 Drive for results.
 Sense of Urgency – understanding the importance of weekly bookings,
monthly figures, selling “specials” etc.
 CRM Initiatives – develop a rapport with Clients & Agencies and
maintaining the same through effective two-way communication &
Skill Sets Expected information dissemination.
 Interpersonal Skills – within the Team & Customers.
 Team Player
 Disciplined Orientation to work.
 Respecting the Company’s Ethics & Policies and bearing the onus of
representing the same while in the market & in the office.
