AIR BOOM

Air Boom can be used for rivers, terminals like inshore and
offhore environments that typically emergency boom for rapid
deployment. Mavi Deniz AirBoom’s high-buoyancy makes it
suitable for use in a wide variety of conditions from sheltered
water to open ocean waves.
Air Boom incorporate a number of advanced design features. Air
Boom for rapid deployment suitable for coastal waters and rought
seas with its isolated chambers remains effective if some are
damaged or deflated. Unsinkable design - either short air
chambers or reserve foam buoyancy inside air chambers. It
consists of boom, in lengths of 25m, 30m or 50m.
AirBoom, is a pressure inflatable boom which uses air for
buoyancy. Each AirBoom section length is segmented into
individual inflatable chambers by way of internal bulkheads. This
ensures that the boom will maintain positive buoyancy and
continue to float in the event of any damage. Booms feature
simple, rapid inflation, and high buoyancy to weight ratios for use in
waves and demanding conditions. AirBoom is also available with
solid foam floatation sections along the top of the boom to keep it
afloat should one of the chambers puncture, damage or deflate.

Air Boom is manufactured from highly visible International Orange
PVC coated woven polyester which is resistant to oils and sunlight.
Optionally polyurethane coated high tenacity polyamide fabric
available that giving it excellent durability and flexibility.
ASTM connectors are fitted as standard and a galvanized chain in
corporated in the base of the skirt provides ballast.
Air Boom should be stored on hydraulic driven reels with capacity
for 250m boom enabling simple deployment and recovery and can
be easily deployed from the storage reel by only two operators,
typically 250m in 10 to 15 minutes.
The Air Boom is easy to clean after deployment with normal
detergents, and hot or cold pressure washers.
AirBoom is inflated through check valves on each chamber and
can be inflated using handheld or backpack inflation blowers, or
with integrated hydraulic blowers stand alone or mounted on a
boom storage and deployment reel.
