TOPIC: How to cope with stress?

The pressures faced by individuals in today's society are evident in the behavior of
students. Many students exhibit changes in their behavior, with some becoming passive
and quiet, while others become easily angered. It is important to address these changes
and find ways to help students cope with the pressures they face. One possible solution is
to encourage a balance in daily activities, which may lead to positive outcomes for
students. According to Jackson, E. M. (2013), Exercise can be an effective component of
a stress management program, and all types of exercise can be beneficial for stress
management. This essay will provide the causes to solve the problem.

Pursuing a hobby will reduce your stress. Each person will have a different job, if doing
too many things at the same time will lead to stress and fatigue, affecting not only health
but also work, so pursuing a hobby will be very good for you. When we are tired from
work, we just need to find a hobby to relax comfortably, relieve the fatigue of work and
give our body good energy. Adam Mulligan.(2020, April 07).(2023, March 28),according
to a study has shown that people with hobbies rarely find themselves stressed, bored and
depressed so to be healthy good spirits need to find a suitable hobby for themselves. To
relieve stress, making social connections gives yourself many opportunities to
communicate and participate in group activities that will bring mental health benefits.

often participate in team sports activities are less likely to experience stress and anxiety.
But for young people it can be difficult to start with finding hobbies to release stress.
Even if they do not know what their hobbies are,they do not have enough patience to
continue to face this situation and this leads to their health getting worse and worse.

Exercise not only helps regulate chemicals in the body but also acts as a powerful
relaxation technique. According to Mary West (2022), when we engage in physical
activity, it helps our muscles relax, reduces muscle tension, and encourages deep
breathing. These effects contribute to a feeling of calmness and relaxation. Additionally,
exercise provides individuals with an opportunity to disconnect from stressors and focus
their attention on the present moment, fostering mindfulness and stress resilience.
Moreover, exercise has been shown to release endorphins, commonly known as "feel-
good" hormones, which contribute to a positive mood and overall sense of well-being.
These natural chemicals produced during exercise can help counteract the negative
effects of stress and promote a sense of relaxation and contentment.

In a survey, about 40% of people said that people do not rest as advised. Elizabeth Scott,
PhD (2021, July 09). You can follow a diet, with a menu of foods that supplement
nutrients and support stress control. If we can stop thinking and worrying about life, we
will sleep better. We should create a suitable schedule for ourselves or ask our family to
remind us if being busy causes us to lose balance in life. Doctors recommend that adults
get about seven to nine hours of sleep each night. Researchers have shown that people
who get enough sleep experience less anxiety and improve their mood and personality.

be too much. Make sure your sleep is fully prepared with items such as bed, mattress,
pillow, blanket, thick curtain, and avoid outside noise. In addition, we should exercise at
least once a day so that the body is tired and needs to rely on sleep more. Eating is an
important part of life, affecting sleep. When eating every day, you must add water and a
sufficient amount of food, including fruits and vegetables, to contribute to your diet.
Anxiety keeps you up at night and you lack sleep, leading to stress finding you.
Everything comes from stress and the way to get rid of it is to combine sleep, time, and a
reasonable diet.

In short, making a few daily adjustments can have a positive impact on students' peaceful
learning. Students can escape academic pressure by following the three ways mentioned
above. In addition, parents also play an important role in being there to comfort and
encourage which will make it more effective. According to the article by Singh K. (2016),
the WHO has defined health as "State of complete physical, mental and social well-being
and not mere absence of disease or infirmity".
