Subject: Business Basics Topic: Money Management
Sub Topic: The Characteristics of Money
Money has special qualities. What are these qualities that allow money to be used

Understand the nature of money: sort money into groups in a variety of ways and

Classroom Safety
The students will be reminded of some of the main safety practices they MUST
follow to ensure and maintain classroom safety. Rules will be reinforced, register
marked, classroom arrangement enforced and instructions given. Class rules will
be displayed using PowerPoint presentation. A Covid-19 safety tip will be
presented. Additionally,
students will:
1. Keep their microphones closed unless they are asking or answering a question
to avoid possible disturbance from their background affecting the teaching-
learning environment.
2. Demonstrate courtesy in regards to the ideas expressed by classmates and will

show appreciation for the efforts of others.

Instructional
Strategies: Think-Pair-Share
Teacher will pose the topic for individuals to think about. The students will be
required to write down their ideas. The students have a WhatsApp group that they
use for collaborative efforts. The students will form online pairs as assigned and
discuss their ideas with the entire class.

Brainstorming
Interactive brainstorming will be used as a group session activity. The process is
useful for generating creative thoughts and ideas and will help the students to learn
to work together and learn from each other about their own experience of
bartering.
