Easy Installation
Guide
BS-6408V/ BS-6408B
1. General Information

The "F" button on the front panel of the device allows you  Config 5 : Shows the IP information of the device.
to use the functions of the device. When you hold down  Config 10 : It allows the device to get IP via DHCP.
this button, it starts counting as config 1 and config 2 on  Config 15 : Restores the device's IP address to
the screen. Whatever number of buttons you release, that factory settings. The sensor port configuration is
function will be performed. You can see the meanings of not changed.
these configs in the table on the right.  Config 20: Restores the device's IP address to
factory settings and resets the port configuration.

2. IP Assignment and Access to Interface

a. Connect the power cable to the V1 (Power) part on the rear panel of the device and energize it.

b. Plug the network cable into the ethernet port on the rear panel of the device.

c. Plug the end of the network cable into a laptop or any PC. When the connection with the PC is established, you

can see your connection in the network and sharing center of your computer, as in Picture 1.

d. Open the properties of the network connection over Ethernet, which allows you to communicate with the

device.

e. You need to put your computer's IP address in the same IP block as your device. You can set the IP address of

your computer as in Picture-2.

f. You can access the interface by typing the IP address of the device through the internet browser: Picture-3

(Default username: admin | password: pass)

g. By the Access the interface of the device, you can give the IP to the device by clicking on the System

Configuration menu as seen in Picture-3.

BS-6408B : Rear view of the Device panel

a. 4 digital sensors (Temperature, Temperature-Humidity, Air Quality) and 8 contact inputs (water, smoke, door, yes/no
sensor) can be installed on the device.
b. After attaching the cabinet nuts that come in the box of the product to the place you see fit in the cabinet, fix the
device with screws.
c. Temperature / Temperature-Humidity / Air Quality Sensors are mounted as follows. Place the sensors where they
will not be exposed to direct air conditioning blowing.

Warning: There is no Sensor cable in the box. You can make the connection by ending the two ends of the data cable with
standard RJ45 as much as you want.

d. Water Sensor Mount :

Point type Water Sensor Sensor Connection Socket Rope type Water Sensor

Make a cable connection to the + and - terminal entries of the connection socket that allows you to wire the water sensor.
Then connect the other end of the cable to the contact inputs of the device. There is no + and - direction difference.

Point type of Water Sensor: The point type water sensor is placed where the water risk is high, optionally it can be fixed
through the mounting holes.

Rope type Water Sensor: The strip-shaped water sensor is placed in the area where the risk is high. You can fix it with the
adhesive crochet hooks that come out of the box or with silicone.

e. Connecting Contact Inputs:

There are 8 contact inputs on the device.

A: Contact tabs | B: Contact inputs

While pressing the contact tabs with a thin flat screwdriver, you can insert the end of
the cable you want to attach to the contact inputs. When you release the contact tab,
you will see that the cable connected to the ignition input does not come out. When
connecting the ignition wires, you must insert them into the same holes at the top
and bottom.

f. Plugging The Power Cables:

The place where the power cables will be installed varies according to the device model.
 For BS-6816B Model:
V1: Energy measurement is not available in this model. You can feed the device from the UPS line.
 For BS-6816V Model:
V1: It is for single-phase UPS voltage and frequency measurement, which is required to supply the device and
measure. Ground voltage measurement is also can be made from this input.
V2: It is dedicated for a different single phase UPS/Grid voltage and frequency measurement to be measured.
V3: It is dedicated for a different single phase UPS/Grid voltage and frequency measurement to be measured.
Note: This model has redundancy feeding feature. In case of V1 voltage is cut off, the device works on V2 voltage.

g. Using of Relay:
There are 2 relay outputs on the back of the device. If there is one of your products such as a siren, air conditioner
control-equipment unit among your purchased products, you will need to use the relay output. While pushing in the
tabs on the relay holes with the help of a thin flat screwdriver, insert the relay cables into the holes. If you do not
push the tabs, you will see that the cable does not come out.

h. Port Configuration:
By clicking on the Channel Configuration menu in the Web interface of the device, you need to make the settings in
the same way if you have installed which sensor (Temperature/Temperature-Humidity/Air Quality) to which digital
port. After this setting, you can see that the digital sensor values are displayed on the device interface and on the
LCD.
i. Connection of the device to the Network:
Connect it to the relevant switch to communicate with Sensaway central management software, and connect it to
the ethernet port of the device with a patch cable.
