Telecommunication Activities

I hereby submit this complaint to register a concern pertaining to an incident of fraudulent

telecommunication that transpired under suspicious circumstances, involving potential identity
theft and misuse of personal information. This incident has been previously reported to the
Mumbai Cyber Crime Branch, which has advised that a formal complaint be lodged with your
jurisdiction for further investigation.

The incident commenced with an automated telephonic message purporting a failed delivery of a
FedEx parcel, falsely registered under my name. Prompted by the message, I proceeded to
engage further by selecting the option provided to receive additional details. Subsequently, Mr.
Gupta presented himself as a FedEx representative, disclosing purported details of the non-
existent parcel as follows:

- Contact Number of Recipient: +662 9020299
- Destination Address: 38/62 Soi Lang Road, Bangkok, Thailand, 10400
- Parcel Identi cation Number: 2289321291
- Declared Contents: Five passports, three bank credit cards, four kilograms of clothing, 200
grams of MDMA, one laptop, and one pair of shoes
- Transaction Method: Payment made via ICICI Credit Card ending in 4872
- Amount Transacted: INR 15,625

Upon expressing my intent to delve deeper into this matter, I was transferred to another individual,
purporting to be an o cial from the Mumbai Cyber Branch. This individual, who failed to provide
any form of o cial identi cation, solicited comprehensive details about the alleged parcel. He
then proceeded to request the recording of a video statement and instructed the installation of
Skype for further communication.

Recognizing potential malfeasance, I sought counsel from my legal advisor, who identi ed the
communication as a probable fraudulent scheme. He recommended immediate disengagement
from the call and reporting the incident to the appropriate cybercrime authorities.

I implore your esteemed o ce to initiate a rigorous investigation into the aforementioned incident,
identify the involved parties, and implement requisite legal measures to mitigate such fraudulent
activities. The detailed and complex nature of the fraudulent claims associated with my personal
credentials necessitates prompt and decisive action.
