These reports are intended as a place of speedy publication of stray chromosome counts

which otherwise might remain unpublished. Though a concise reference to a single voucher

specimen and the place where it is kept is significant, the importance of a critical taxonomical

identification of the material and an exact counting of the chromosome number cannot be

overemphasized. Contributors receive ten copies free of charge, but can order additional copies
