Job Title Fellow - Resilience & Climate Justice

Job Summary:

The Fellow's responsibility entails assisting ActionAid Bangladesh (AAB) in furthering the strategic goal of
the Resilience and Climate Justice unit. This includes assisting in organizing local and national events for
the Global Campaign, as well as contributing to documentation and knowledge management efforts.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Job Responsibilities 01: Support in arranging Local and National % of time 60%
Launching Event of Global Campaign (Fund our Future)
Tasks
• Support in preparing quality knowledge material and participating in Local and National Launching
events.
• Participate in preparatory work of the events and communicate with participants and guests as
per the requirement.
• Assist the team with any documentation or administrative needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager related to the organization.

Job Responsibilities 02: Assist in Knowledge Management % of time 40%

Tasks

• Support in designing and roll-out of research/study for evidence/knowledge generation.

• Assist for desk review of national policies and its influences in favor of the climate vulnerable
communities.
• Support in information collection, draft with documentation of case stories collected from field
for article publication or for donor reports.
• Accommodate in preparing quality knowledge materials.

Education
• Graduation in relevant subject areas i.e., Environmental Science, Disaster Management,
Development Studies or relevant discipline from any reputable university.
Experience
• Previous work or research experiences in climate change, energy transition, environment is
preferable.
Technical Skills
• Excellent writing, analytical and research skills.
• Ability to identify significant information and present it in a simple and engaging way.
• General computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal communication skills both in English and Bengali
