Autumn Breeze
Autumn Breeze was knit bottom Lace Panel – Written instructions when knitted in the round
up in the round with a loose fit and
slim sleeve, featuring a beautiful
lace panel on the front and a Box
Pleat on the back. Knit with
Biscotte’s Latte yarn, this sweater
was made to drape! This yarn is so
light and airy against the skin that
it reminded me of the first breeze
felt when you know Autumn is
here!
YARN
Biscotte Yarns - Latte 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4
) skeins: color in photo was Limited
edition #692 and shown with
approximately 10-12 inches of
positive ease.
NEEDLES
Circular and DPN’s of 3.5mm
(US#4) (or size needed to obtain gauge) and 4mm (US#6) for neck
bind off.
NOTIONS
Stitch holder or scrap yarn

Instructions
CO 276 (288, 308, 328, 340, 352) Sts using the German twisted Cast
On. Join in the round careful not to twist Sts, place marker for
beginning of round. Knit the first round to set up marker placement.
Set up round: Slip BOR M, K50 (53, 58, 63, 66, 69) Pm, K24, Pm (lace
panel), K50 (53, 58, 63, 66, 69) Pm (side marker), knit remaining 152
(158, 168, 178, 184, 190) Sts to BOR marker. (The back has an extra
28 Sts that will be decreased later when the Box Pleat is completed.)
Lower Back Short Rows
Row 1: Slip BOR marker, K9, W&T.
Row 2: Purl to BOR, SM, P to side marker, SM,
P9, W&T.
Row 3: K to side marker, SM, K to BOR marker,
SM, k to wrapped St, knit the St with its wrap,
K3, W&T.
Row 4: P to BOR marker, SM, P to side marker,
SM, P to wrapped St, P the St with its wrap, P3,
W&T.
Repeat rows 3 and 4 until there are 78 (78, 78,
88, 88, 88) unworked Sts along the front
center.
Ready to work in the round, start the lace panel on the front 24 Sts
within the markers, picking up the last wrap when you come to it.
