Assignment Task
This is an individual assignment.
This coursework gives you practice in developing and delivering a talk show interview
discussion of a topic. Choose ONE topic from the two given below. Your goal is to share
about your experiences in the scenarios given and produce a video that features your voice
as the interviewer, and you yourself as the talk show guest.

Instructions:
Task: Talk show interview discussion

1. Choose ONE topic from the following list:


a. Imagine you are a famous celebrity. You have been asked to star in an
episode of a talk show to talk about your everyday life and your experiences
in stardom. As a guest, you will be speaking about the following:
i. How did you grow up and what was your childhood like?
ii. Your rise to fame
iii. Your daily and weekly routines
iv. Your thoughts about fame and being a celebrity

b. Imagine you are a travelling journalist. You have been asked to star in an
episode of a talk show to talk about your everyday life and your experiences
in your journeys. As a guest, you will be speaking about the following:
i. What is a travelling journalist and why did you choose to become
one?
ii. Your top 3 places from your travels (and why)
iii. Your daily routine as a travelling journalist
iv. Your thoughts or advice about the travel life

2. You are to video record yourself as the guest of the talk show, speaking about the
topic that you have chosen in (1).

3. You are also to record your own voice as the interviewer of the talk show.
a. You as the interviewer will not be seen in the video.
4. Create a name for yourself and your talk show.

5. Create your character and dress yourself up in a costume and props that fits the
option that you have chosen in (1).

6. Include relevant background music and sound effects, including audience clapping
where appropriate.

7. Include subtitles.
8. The duration of your video should be between 3 to 4 minutes.
9. You may use Capcut (available on Play Store or Apple Store) or other similar video
making softwares to complete this assignment.
10. Name your file with the following format:
a. (Name based on I.C.) - Talk Show Interview - Coursework Term 1
11. Ensure that your video formats are in mp4 OR mov. OR avi.
12. Deadline: 16th February 2024, Friday.
a. Submit to Google Classroom docket.

Marking Criteria:
This assignment contributes 30% to the overall term grades.
5% will automatically be deducted for any late submission.
