CONTRACT OF SERVICE

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

This CONTRACT made by and entered by and between:

NORTH EASTERN MINDANAO STATE UNIVERSITY formerly Surigao del Sur State University,
with office address at Tandag, Surigao del Sur, herein represented by DR. NEMESIO G.
LOAYON, SUC President III, hereinafter referred to as the “First Party”

--and—

CYRIL ANN Q. IRIBERRI- MENGUITO of legal age, Filipino and with residence / office
address at Cantilan, Surigao del Sur, hereinafter referred to as “Second Party”.

WITNESSETH

1. That the First Party is in need of the services of the Second Party;

2. That the Second Party has signified his/her intention, to which the First Party has
accepted, to provide the service needed by the later;

3. That the Second Party hereby possesses the education, experience and skills
required to perform the job as described herein;

4. That the Second Party hereby attest that he/she has not been previously dismissed
from government service by reason of an administrative offense;

5. That in view hereof, the Second Party is hereby contracted to handle the subjects
in the Undergraduate Program of the School effective January 29, 2024 until the last
day of the 2nd Semester of A.Y. 2023- 2024 in consideration of the following terms;

12.0 units (load) as reflected in the approved Faculty Workload with a rate of
250.00/hour;

6. That the second party shall perform a teaching job at a time and follow the
schedule hereto attached.
 7. That the undersigned shall conform with the policies of the school and he/she
should submit Syllabi, Grading Sheet, Clearance and other requirements prior to the
last payment of his/her services during the period he/she is rendering service to the
school.

8. The Services of the contract of service and job order workers are not covered by
Civil Service law and rules thus, not creditable as government service. They do not
enjoy the benefits enjoyed by government employees, such as leave, PERA, RATA
and thirteenth month pay.

9. In case of salary increase, this is subject to change as to their respective salary

grade upon implementation of the Salary Standardization Law 5. Provided, the
Department of Budget and Management had issued a circular on this matter.

10. That it is understood that this contract does not create an employer-employee
relationship between the First Party and the Second Party, that the services
rendered hereunder are not considered and will not be accredited as government
service; and that the latter is not entitled to benefits enjoyed by the regular
personnel of the First Party.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, both parties have hereunto set their hands this 29 th day of
January 2024, at Cantilan, Surigao del Sur.
