worksheets (LKPD) based on the problem-based learning (PBL) model using the
local context of the Bangka Belitung, while thematic books were mainly used in the
classroom. Further, it caused students to have less interested and less motivated. This
study aims to develop feasible and practical students’ learning worksheets using the
context of the Bangka Belitung tradition in social studies for class IV in which a
problem-based learning model was used as an approach to design learning activities.
This study used Research and Development (R&D) as the theoretical
background in which the five stages model of ADDIE was implemented including
analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects in this
study were two teachers of grades IV and V of SD Negeri 60 Pangkalpinang and 35
students of grade IV of SD Negeri 60 Pangkalpinang. The data in this study were
obtained through teacher responses and student responses that were gained through
questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used quantitative
description. While to maintain validity and reliability, media experts, material
experts, and linguists were also invited and participated.
The results of this study revealed that the student's learning worksheets
designed were following the learning goals. It can be seen from the content that is
very eligible (97.7%), the media that is very eligible (95%), and the language used
that is also very eligible (92.5%). Meanwhile, it also found from the results of small-
scale trials, the students’ learning worksheets were also very practical (96.6%) and
the large-scale trials were very practical (97%). While, based on the results of the
teacher's response, it also found that the worksheet was very practical (95%).
Therefore, it can be concluded that student worksheets (LKPD) based on the
problem-based learning (PBL) model using the Bangka Belitung traditional context
are appropriate and practical to use as teaching materials.
