COMPONENTS OF COMPUTER SYSTEM
OBJECTIVES:
The student may be able to learn and understand the components of computer
system
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Listen attentively during the class discussion. Your professor will discuss the
components of the computer system.
2. Study and analyze the components of the computer system.
3. A written exam will also be given as part of your assessment activity.
MATERIALS:
Pencil, Marker, Ruler, Copy of Lesson
RESULTS AND OBSERVATION:

Students are asked to note their observations during the class discussion and while
performing the activity. At the end of this exercise, it is expected that the students will be
able to determine the components of the computer system.

navigate and interact with

them, and then takes the
necessary action.

document's picture into digital
data that can be saved on a
IMAGE SCANNER computer.
A camera is a piece of device
used for filming, creating
television shows, and taking
images. These days, a lot of
cameras are built into other
digital gadgets like tablets and
phones.

the main function of a monitor. It
may be known as a computer
device's primary output device.

monitor display was introduced.
MONITOR
When it comes to projecting
images to a large audience, a
projector can take the role of a
monitor or television. It is an
output device that displays
images onto a projection screen
and can be connected to a
computer. Projectors are utilized
PROJECTOR in movie theaters and auditoriums
and come in a variety of shapes
and sizes.
One of the most popular output
devices is a speaker, which is
connected to a computer to
produce sound. While some
speakers can only be connected
to computers, others are made to
work with any type of sound
system.

A device that prints papers and

images onto paper or other
materials is called a printer. It is
typically connected to a computer
so that you may generate
documents and images that print
out on the printer using word
processing, spreadsheets, and
other tools.
PRINTER
The component of a computer
that holds or accepts a disk is
called the disk drive. You can
store data on the disk and read
data from it owing to the disk
drive. Hard drive components for
computers are made at this site.

The name modem means modulator demodulator.
To send and receive data, a modem is used to link
our computer to a cable or regular phone line. A
modem is a device that translates signals so that
they can be read by another device.
MODEM
Generalization:
Information flows smoothly between computers and people in this world that is created
by the interaction of input, output, and I/O devices. This interaction, which affects
computing systems' efficacy, accessibility, and efficiency, is fundamental to the user
experience. The distinctions between these device categories become more obscure as
technology develops, inspiring creative solutions that transform our understanding of and
interactions with the digital world. The functions of input, output, and I/O devices are
essential threads in the complex world of technology that come together to create a
smooth and dynamic experience. The dynamic movement of these elements continues
to be a monument to the ever-changing nature of technology and its significant influence
on our everyday lives as we explore the digital realm.
