I’m much more secure
now, but I still deal with
anxiety. Acting is a way of
overcoming it, because it
allows me to make use of my
overly sensitive side and
channel all that nervous
energy, which would otherwise
be an obstacle. My work is
such an important outlet — I
can’t imagine my life without it.

to your success?
I was very lucky to have two
parents who always encour-
aged and supported me. They
knew nothing about the film
business, yet they were ready
to support my dream because
they believed in me. You never
