1. Scope
Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) are documents that shall be issued by the CGE in accordance with the
Subcontract requirements (Subcontract Exhibits). Contractor will work with the CGE to develop the ITP’s for
their scope of work. This document provides this procedure covers the minimum requirements inspection and
testing related to Cable Pulling. Job Hazard Analysis for Cable Pulling installations covers the ES&H risks and
mitigation for this scope of work. Means and methods are covered by the associated execution plan(s).
Examples ITP for the Site Preparation work and explain how the ITP’s are developed by the CGE.

2. Inspection and Test Requirements

Inspection and Test Requirements are outlined in Appendix 1.

3. Inspection and Test Records

Example Inspection and Test Record forms are provided in Appendix 2. ITR formatting and information fields
shall match the approved example.

4. Inspection and Testing Personnel

All inspection and tests must be performed by personnel deemed competent through experience, education,
training, and/or certification as required.

5. Measuring and Equipment for Cable Pulling

The following measuring and test equipment is required for this ITP. The equipment must be kept calibrated:
- Megger
- Digital Mutimeter
- Electrician toolbox
- Tension measuring device
