• Auriculotemporal nerve carry secretomotor fiber to parotid
• Chorda tympani carry secretomotor fiber to submand and sublingual
gland
• And taste sensation in ant 2/3rd of tongue
• If injury or fracture of spine lead to paralysis of secretomtor fiber-
