Higherlife Foundation (Higherlife) is a social impact organization that invests in human capital to build thriving individuals,
communities, and sustainable livelihoods. Founded by Strive and Tsitsi Masiyiwa in 1996, the Foundation was first launched in
Zimbabwe and has since spread its footprint to Lesotho, Burundi, Rwanda, Swaziland, South Africa, and Kenya. Higherlife
Foundation implements projects in Education; Global Health and Rural Transformation and Sustainable Livelihoods; impacting
millions of lives in the communities it serves.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepares monthly and weekly activity plan for review by Senior Associate.
• Reconciliation of SBU expenditure and distributions.
• Conducts stakeholder engagements, mapping, and training in assigned districts.
• Attends stakeholder meetings and presents quarterly reports as assigned by Senior Associate SBU.
• Participates in internal & external programme assessments in partnership with the Monitoring and Evaluation
function.
• Conducts coaching and mentoring of beneficiaries and identification of need areas and arranges for necessary action.
• Ensures adherence to HLF procedure manuals to achieve systems compliance.
• Supports and implements activities in the SBU guided by our strategic pillars in Education, Global health, and Rural
Transformation Sustainable Livelihoods.
