At the end of the discussion, the students should be able to:
a) discuss the historical background and characteristic of the Dance ;
b) demonstrate and create a simple choreography of the dance ; and
c) execute the steps with enjoyment and discipline.

A. CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

Goodmorning class, before we start our


discussion, let us all rise and May I ask Mr. (student will stand)

IV. Lesson Proper
E. SUBJECT MATTER

For this next topic, we are going to explore a


dance from Russian called Oyda.

Okay class What is OYDA? Ms. Bayachan


can you please read the description.
OYDA a dance originated from Russia.
Characterized by Foot stamping and leaping
that show Russians zest of life.
Now, What time signature of Oyda dance?

The music of Oyda is composed of one part,


and in every figure there are sixteen masures.

The formation of this dance is double circle,


facing counter clockwise. The girl is slightly
ahead of the boy.

Later, we will group you into 7 groups and we


are going to execute this dance and you have
a practicum. Just enjoy because this is fun to
learn.

First, I will teach you the steps in figure 1.

figure 1 is divided into six parts, a, b, c, d, e,


and f.

Now I want you to form a double circle, the


girl is slightly ahead of the boy. And of (Students will follow the instructions)

that’s (cts. 1, and,2, and). Let us all execute it
class.

Let’s proceed to step (c), Ms. Soleto can you


read it please?
Repeat (a) and (b), hopping on the R foot, and
