The reproductive system
The reproductive system is the biological system that involves the anatomical reproductive organs involved in sexual reproduction. There are
two main types of reproductive organs namely the male reproductive system and the female reproductive system.

The male reproductive system


This is the reproductive system found in males. Parts of the male reproductive system and their
functions are as follows.

I. Testis(testicles): produces sperm cells and male hormone called Testosterone


II. Penis: Disposes sperm cells into the vagina and allows urine to come out.
III. Urethra: Passage of sperm cells from the sperm duct to the penis, passage for urine.
IV. Epididymis: Stores sperm cells
V. Scrotum: It protects the testicles from external damage.
VI. Sperm duct: Passage of sperm cells from the epididymis to the urethra.
VII. Prostate gland: Produces and adds a seminal fluid called semen.
