 HiCOM system :
supplies the fuel gas of the MEGI engines and DFGEs by compressing BOG. It consists of a 5-stage high
pressure compressor which can compress BOG to high pressure for supplying fuel gas to the MEGI engines
directly. Fuel gas for the DFGEs is supplied from the 2nd stage outlet of the FG compressor.

 Partial Reliquefaction System (PRS) :


In case of one HiCOM system operation, the remaining pressurized fuel gas can be transferred to Partial
Reliquefaction System (PRS) for reliquefaction and then it is returned to cargo tanks. To illustrate the system more
clearly, it is composed of a heat exchanger and a J/T valve and a liquid/gas separator. The compressed high
pressure gas is cooled by cold BOG from cargo tank through the heat exchanger and expanded by J/T valve to
operating pressure in the liquid/gas separator. The liquid part in the separator is transferred to cargo tanks and the
vapor in the separator is sent to the suction line of the FG compressor (recirculation).

 Full Reliquefaction System (FRS) :


In terms of excessive BOG, two (2) FG compressors can be used for gas consumers or reliquefaction of
remaining gas. In fact, the one of two (2) FG compressors can supply gas to MEGI engines and GEs and the
other can supply gas to FRS for reliquefcation. FRS means that a dedicated HiCOM is used for PRS. During FRS
running, the liquid part in the separator can be transferred to cargo tanks and the vapor in the separator can be
sent to the suction line of the FG compressor (recirculation)

 HiCOM + Forcing Vaporizer :


If there is not enough BOG in cargo tanks, the forcing vaporizer can be used to make gas for MEGI engines and
GEs. To be specific, the generated BOG from the forcing vaporizer is sent to an inlet of running HiCOM to be
pressurized and HiCOM delivers gas to MEGIs and DFGEs.
