Within the Scope (Global): The scope of the risk includes all lifting and crane COMPANY

to earthmoving equipment for lifting, pettibone, mobile and fixed cranes, AREA

attachment, crane accessories (rigging equipment), use of hand tools for lifting.

Outside the Scope (Global): The scope of the risk excludes the following
according to the requirements of the asset, project or exploration: objects
thrown by a person, structural failure resulting in an object falling to a lower
level, people falling from one level to another, lifting, forklifts (without
boom attachment) and industrial forklifts, earthmoving equipment, use of
articulated arms installed on modified vehicles, tyre handlers, suspended or
hoist scaffolding, work with external loads (helicopter, activities in work box/
lift man with people inside), transporters, lever winches or the use of hand
tools for pulling and hauling activities, lifts, basket lifts, goods lifts, hook and
sling attached to all equipment for pulling or towing.

corrosion, wear and tear or any other damage that impairs their capacity?
• Are the lifting elements free of contamination with hydrocarbons? (More than
50% of the element contaminated).
• Have the rigger and operator carried out the equipment checklist and verified
that all the elements on the list and security systems are operational, with all their
components in good condition?

• Is the lifting equipment’s maintenance or log up-to-date?

• Does the mobile lifting equipment have certification from the organisation
defined by the company?

delimited and signalled at the upper and lower levels?

be in this area).
• Have you verified that weather conditions comply with those defined in the
lifting plan?
• Is there a document accrediting evaluation of the ground, according to the
standards of the site, as regards the maximum load and weight of the crane?
• Is the mobile crane totally stabilised and are the stabilisers

instructions that are effective for the operation being implemented?

• Do you understand that you are in a security zone and that instructions must be
