Here are some challenges to Pancasila and the quality of education that can be found:

 Technological Advancement: In the era of globalization, technology plays a big role


in education. However, the challenge is how to integrate Pancasila values with
technology to improve the quality of education.

 Selfish Attitude: Another challenge is how to overcome selfish attitudes that can
hinder the development of Pancasila values among students. Pancasila education
should help students develop tolerance and civic awareness.

 Not Accepting Differences: Another challenge is how to overcome the tendency to not
accept differences that can hinder the development of Pancasila values. Pancasila
education should help students develop an attitude of respect for differences within
the framework of Unity in Diversity.

 Exalting One’s Own Region: Another challenge is how to overcome the tendency to
exalt one’s own region that can hinder the development of Pancasila values. Pancasila
education should help students develop nationalism and state awareness.

 Resource Availability: Another challenge is how to overcome the availability of


resources that can hinder the development of Pancasila values. Pancasila education
must be implemented with sufficient and effective resources.

 Study Program Specialization: Another challenge is how to overcome the


specialization of study programs that can hinder the development of Pancasila values.
Pancasila education must be implemented with relevant and effective specialization of
study programs.

 Resource Availability Factor: Another challenge is how to overcome the resource


availability factor that can hinder the development of Pancasila values. Pancasila
education must be implemented with sufficient and effective resources.

 Strengthening of Nationalistic Insight: Another challenge is how to overcome the


strengthening of national insight that can hinder the development of Pancasila values.
Pancasila education must be able to help students develop nationalistic insight and
state awareness.
 National Character Development: Another challenge is how to overcome the
development of national character that can hinder the development of Pancasila
values. Pancasila education should be able to help students develop quality national
character in accordance with the noble ideals of the Proclamation of August 17, 1945.

 Self-Potential Development: Another challenge is how to overcome the development


of self-potential that can hinder the development of Pancasila values. Pancasila
education must be able to help students develop their potential as Indonesian human
beings who are faithful, pious, noble, love the country, democratic, tolerant, and have
social justice.

Thus, the challenges of Pancasila Education faced in education in Indonesia cover several
aspects, including technological advances, selfish attitudes, not accepting differences,
exalting one’s own region, resource availability, specialization of study programs, resource
availability factors, strengthening national insight, fostering national character, and
developing self-potential. To overcome these challenges, Pancasila education must be
implemented effectively and efficiently, and take into account the availability of resources
and the specialization of relevant study programs.
