The internship programme aims to provide potential candidates with a unique opportunity to

learn the applications of various advanced analytical instruments, which are essential for the
characterization of materials. Under the guidance of qualified professionals, the interns are
encouraged to become familiar with the tools. They will be given an introduction to the
instrument’s operation, its operating principles, data analysis, and result interpretation.
WHO CAN APPLY?
 Undergraduate/Postgraduate/PhD (Pursuing/Completed) in any field of science,
engineering, technology or equivalent.
 Laboratory or Technical staff working in Govt. recognized Institution/ Research
Organization/ Industry.

 Applying for multiple section - Applicant can submit maximum 3 separate applications but he/she
will be selected for one course only as per availability and eligibility.
 Certificate of completion will be provided after completion of internship.
 No Objection Certificate should be provided by Employer/Director/Manager/CEO/Principal/
Dean/HOD (wherever applicable).

 The Internship Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances once paid.
 The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed in the institute’s website. After selection, the
course fee to be deposited through electronic means (by selected candidates only) and scanned
copy of bank/online receipt with valid photo ID is be sent to e-mail id: cif@bitmesra.ac.in
 Original receipt and self-attested set of documents shall be deposited at time of joining of the
course.
 All documents in original to be shown on the joining day for internship programme.
 Accommodation in the institute Hostel(₹ 500.00 as Seat rent) and Mess Facility(Chargeable basis)
shall be provided to the selected interns during the course of this programme.
 No travelling or any other allowances will be paid to candidate for attending the internship
program.
 It is an internship program and it would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit
for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
