Worked Example for the Main activity
Challenge topic: Education for all
There are four clear paragraphs in the boxed text. Give all members of each small group the
same paragraph. Give them 10–15 mins to discuss it and note the main idea/key points. Split the
groups so that each new group has someone in it who has discussed each of the four paragraphs.
Each member tells the other group members about their paragraph. Learners can make notes in
their Learner’s Skills Book during or after the discussions. Class discussion can be about the
whole text.
