BEHAVIOURAL OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, the students should be able
to:
a) Define Human body
b) Name the types of teeth.
c) Mention the parts of teeth.

PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE The students are familiar with the term Human body
INTRODUCTION The teacher introduces the lesson by asking the
students questions that warrant mentioning Human
body. e.g.
 What are the types of teeth?
 The tongue and the lips.
PRESENTATION
STEP 1: The Teacher gives definitions of Human body as:

Many things happen in our body which keep it constantly

at work. These body activities are possible because of
certain special organs built for them. These body organs
form specific group that we call system that help us carry
out life processes.
STEP II: The teacher tasks students to mention the types of
the teeth:

 Incisors
 Cannies
 Pre-molars
 Molars

STEP III: The teacher asks students to mention the parts of the
 teeth, that is:

 The crown
 The root

EVALUATION The teacher evaluates the lesson by asking the

student’s the following questions:
1) Define the term Human body.
2) Mention types of the teeth.
3) List 2 parts of teeth.
CONCLUSION The teacher concludes the lesson by quickly
summarizing the main points/ideas of the lesson.
HOME WORK Mention the types of teeth we have.
