2. In Bukandula Village, Mpigi District, the people are lacking a sense of belonging,
togetherness and a common goal. The rich do not want to Mary the poor, the poor do not
Marry the poor, the Muslims do not connect with Christians and much more of such
confusion occurs.
a) As a leader in Bukandula Village, employ the traditional ways of handling such chaos

3. In the modern generation of today the Youth think that studying the past events and
management of society is a waste of time.

5. Your brother or sister who is a 25year old Ugandan Citizen had a lot of ambitions when
he or she was young .He/She wanted to be rich and be known in the whole world,
unfortunately He/She worked so hard for 10years in Uganda but did not get. He/She
decided to get the employment companies and seek for a Job abroad in the middle East.

Extended responses.
Under the latest measures, the movements of people by private vehicles were prohibited
from 22:00 local time on Monday march30, 2020.
A curfew from 19:00pm to 06:30am was put in place from Tuesday march 31, 2020.All
members of the public except for individuals transporting cargo were told to stay indoors.
Gatherings of more than five people were banned as a precautionary measure. Shopping
malls, Arcades, hardware, shops and all non-food stores except for supermarkets and
pharmacies were suspended for 14days from April 21, 2020. Meanwhile, ban on all public
transport remains in place as of Wednesday march 25, 2020.
Uganda’s borders were closed since Saturday March 21, 2020 due to COVID-19
pandemic .Authorities were instructed to close all land, water and hair points of entry
until further notice while only cargo and humanitarian flights were allowed to land in
Uganda .This was one of the greatest phenomeno Ugandans had experienced in their
livelihood.
a) Compare the Health problems faced during the colonial economy to those ace

7. At Salaama Community where live has a structure which run from the family, LCI, LCII,
LCIII among others. However, the residents keep on complaining and cases referred to local
leaders are never satisfactorily addressed. They also dissatisfied with the way the cases
emanating from their community are handled by the Courts at district level .In one of the
meetings with their area members of parliament Hon.Ssewanyana Allan, They raised the
issue affecting their comrade Lubega Achilles who had spent three years in custody
without trial. Other complaints they raised included lack of service provision to the locals.

8. In 2020-2021 Budget, the Kampala Capital City Authority Set up 9 billion shillings to
punch up the potholes on different city roads. The Minister for Kampala Betty Amongi told
the Journalists at Uganda Media center that they had seeked permission from the Minister
of Finance to have all the meant for infrastructures works that were dedicated to the
emergency road repairs. Betty Amongi said that 38 roads, 8 were in Rubaga division, 5 in
Nakawa division, 8 in Makindye division including salaama road which is in bad condition,
8 in Kawempe division and 9 roads in central division were to be worked on.
Unfortunately, in 2020-2021 Budget the Minister of Finance Matia Kasaijja told the
parliament committee that the money meant for repairing these roads was not there. The
parliamentary committee chairperson was shocked with his members on the committee.
a) Why do you think the Government of Uganda prioritizes the road construction and
maintenance through better allocation of funds in the budget? (08score)
