of rearrangement and development of new facilities during a period of 5 years,
from 2005 to 2010.

As can be seen from the maps, the main road running from East to West divided
this town into two separated areas, alongside to which was adjacent shops. There
was an/a big/ large agricultural area in the North of this town. To the South of the
map, there were two accommodations to serve the demand of citizens in this area/
the local. There was a small school located in South-West of this town, facing to
which was a spacious public park. All these amenities were connected to the main
road by minor roads.

Một trong những đặc điểm thay đổi nổi bật nhất là việc xây dựng nên đường cao tốc
phân làn. Chuỗi cửa hiệu phía bắc của trục đường chính đã bị giật sập, vị trí của nơi
này ngày nay được sử dụng cho bus stop và car park. ở không gian chính giữa những
cái đó, có một trung tâm thương mại mới được thành lập. Về khu vực đong bắc của
bản đồ, môt khu dân cư mới được xây dựng lên, khu vực này được kết nối với đường
cao tốc thông qua con đường nhỏ. Về phía Nam của trục đường chính, trường học và

One of the most notable changes in the development of Islip was the construction
of divided high way. The chain stores in the northern area has been demolished to
give its place to bus stop and car park, which were found in 2010. In the middle of
these places/ which, a large shopping mall has been established. In the North-east
of Islip, there was a new housing area which was erected to serve more demand
of the people residing here, which was linked to the high way through small/
minor roads. It was southern part of this town that experienced fewer changes,
with a school and two housing areas remaining intact in their previous places. A
new accommodation in the bottom right-hand corner has been built and a previous
park has been made smaller to make way for this development.
