Welcome To
Casma “City of the Eternal Sun” It is a
pleasure to address you to express our
most cordial greetings and thanks, for
knowing a little more about my city, I
promise that you will not regret it!

CASMA: WHAT CAN YOU SEE IN THIS CITY?

Casma is highly appreciated for its archaeological
sites, such as the Chankillo archaeoastronomic
complex, a solar observatory, considered the oldest in
America. The "Plaza de Armas", a small one surrounded
by its beautiful restaurants and its beautiful church.
The Church of Matriz de Casma, where several of us
Casmeños entered mass. In addition, there is the
MaxUle Museum, a place full of history. Here there are
many photographs and memories of our Inca heroes
and also of our found mummies and kitchen remains
from those times. Interesting, right?
CASMA: OUR TOURIST CENTERS?

First of all we have our beautiful beaches among

them "El Balneareo de Tortugas" where we take
our beautiful boat ride, and in summer we usually
have beach parties with guest artists, beach
volleyball, meals, etc. We also usually go on New
Year's to spend and enjoy the festivities since,
thanks to the beautiful people, we launch
balloons thanking for another year in the
company of our families.

CASMA: OUR TOURIST CENTERS?

On the other hand we have our archaeological center

Sechin, which we have our museum and a viewpoint, in the
museum we have models from a beautiful panorama, of
what all of Sechin looks like, we make a collection where
we see carved in stone how our ancestors died, with cuts
on the tongue, head and limbs, we also have our mummy in
the museum that was dissected to be seen, there are
pieces of what the kitchens were like before, combs, and
other things, it is very nice as a tourist center.
CASMA: OUR TOURIST CENTERS?

We have our beautiful Plaza de Armas, where during the

chasma festivals, which are on July 22 in celebration of
our patron saint, Santa María Magdalena, those times
are where people come from elsewhere with their
merchandise, the games where the children go out in
the company of their families have fun, artists invited
by the committee also arrive where all Casmeños go out
to have fun with friends, families, etc., and there are
cycling competitions. We also have tourist tours, which
are going through all the tourist centers.

Casma Festivals:
For these holidays, the Casma church usually holds
a mass for the deceased, a mass in honor of Santa
Maria Magdalena where the faithful believers go
to honor our sacred virgin, also together with the
company of the other Casma residents and the
congregants of the church usually do a tour with
the Virgin through the main streets of Casma,
they also make their theaters based on stories
that happened in Casma, in that and other things it
is very nice in Casma

TYPICAL CASMA DISHES:

It is traditional that we Casmeños offer those who visit the

City of the Eternal Sun an exquisite culinary art where the
traditions of the mountains and the coast are
concentrated such as: Picante de ciño, ciño al ajo, Mixed
and fish ceviche, Picante de guinea pig, pepian de turkey,
duck ceviche with beans, Juicy; natives of the Casmeña
area, thanks to our variety of crops that we have in our
city we have the opportunity to offer you the exquisite
delicacy of our typical dishes.
This is the La Gramita beach located
south of Casma, in the summer it is usually
full of people so the municipality of Casma
makes its tourist centers taking us
Casmeños to participate in games on the
beach and events such as the bullfight.

very few people go, it usually has a nice

In Casma there are usually rich and
delicious raspadillas for the heat in several
centers seen in Casma we find raspadillas

streets of Casma where many mothers of
families sell, they also sell the delicious
fruit marcianos and the cremoladas, also
the pure fruit soft drinks like their chica
morada, passion fruit, etc.
Clothing trend: In Casma we have a variety of stores with
different prices, materials, etc. In Casma we bring imported
clothing from Lima with the same quality and at the same price.
There are also clothes for all occasions and for all ages from 2
years old to 70 years old. At Casma we will always bring the
fashion that is in other places so that our cameños dress in
fashion and at a good price, with good material. As much as
physically there is also virtually the sale of clothing, at the
same price as they usually say at the auction of what costs you
more, in transmission it costs less.
Stores:
In Casma we have store varieties for all types of
emergencies, we have pharmacies and
pharmacies for 24-hour service, there are also
supermarkets where there are varieties of
economical products for housewives for their
weekly purchases; There are also appliance
stores: such as televisions, refrigerators, etc.,
we also sell flowers, stuffed animals and cell
phone accessories. We also have our market and

Bookshop:
In our bookstore lines we find a variety of books,
