Subject: Reinspection of Baba Mehar Singh Memorial College of Education Kalanaur, district

Gurdaspur.
Reference: your letter number 575/Colleges dated January 15th, 2024
The committee constituted for the above referred reinspection visited the college on May 14th 2024
afternoon and observed that;
1. The construction work of the new block has been completed and classes of the B.Ed course
has been shifted to the new block.

2. The college has opened a new saving bank account with axis bank, Kalanaur in joint holding
of Mr. Kulwinder Singh, (chairman) and Mrs. Sarbjit Kaur (principal) of the college for
maintaining accounts of amalgamated fund.

3. However, only two faculty members are UGC (NET) qualified and approved by the
university. Three faculty members including the principal are in the process of approval
from the university. Rest 10 faculty members are not UGC (NET) qualified.

The College needs to appoint faculty as per NCTE norms.
