HISTORY
One-month old lambs at Bersamin Farm in Nueva Ecija had large scabs in their mouth and lips.
After 2 weeks, lesions in the buccal cavity of 10 lambs in pen no. 1 healed completely without giving any
medication. However, the remaining lambs in other pens also developed scabs in their feet and lactating
ewes had mastitis. Some of these lambs also died.
