GAME: KEJOHANAN PRA LEVEL: NATIONAL
SUKMA KELANTAN 2024
This tournament will be play by under 21 years
players. I already refereeing a few test matches for
the Sukma teams such as Terengganu, Kelantan &
Pahang last 2 weeks. For sure there will be a fast
game and high of intensity different pattern played
by senior players. Each team must be prepared well
for this tournament. All of them still in the process to
make a final selection for the Sukma game. Players
will be do their best to select by their coaches.
Same goes to me. I will do my best to refereeing all
the games that appoint by the RM both men &
women categories.
Prepare on mental and fitness level for this game.

3 key things I want to focus on for this game:
● Game/Player Management – ensuring that
I keep firm on decision and control the game
without being a dominant figure – letting the
players play. Setting early standards wIll
be important. I will likely be nervous to begin
with so it will be important to remain
composed. Clear communication will be
mandatory.
● Breakdown – Make sure I’m in the right
position to manage, and go through the
checklist – tackler, tackled player,
arriving players – to make the right
decisions.Most important is.. on the mark..
● Presentation – Clear & slow signaling, and
movement/accelleration around the field
(jog, sprint-jog, sprint, calm and cool) all will
be apply with the situation.
 Improvements looking for :-

● Ruck management

– manage quality of ruck using the

checklist.

● Communication

- Verbal, signal and whistling
