Good day!

In order to better understand the current theme, “ Environment,” Summit Integrated

Learning Academy Inc. (SILAI) has planned a trip to Robinsons Supermarket. Taking our
schoolchildren to the supermarket is a great way to help them become more aware of the
things around them and the importance of following rules to become part of a safe and
orderly community. Additionally, they will observe the various roles occupied by
supermarket staff members such as storekeepers, butchers, fishmongers, cashiers and
packers.

As SILAI aims to educate our children to eat healthier foods, this outing will effectively
show them how food is categorized in the supermarket, how to identify foods that are
healthier as well as how to select and purchase these items.

In this connection, we would like to seek your approval to allow our schoolchildren to
explore things in the supermarket. It is suggested to have a counter assigned to our children
where they could line up and pay for the things that they want to buy.

It is our fervent hope that your support and cooperation will assist us in launching a
program that will contribute to our children’s learning foundation and will aid in honing
their self-help skills, confidence, independence and critical thinking skills.Thus, preparing
them to be a functional member to the society. Thank you very much.
