Interpretation:
At the 0.05 significance level, the calculated F value ( 5.951183) in the preceding table is slightly
higher than the critical value ( 4.256495). This demonstrated that the differences between the treatments
are a little bit substantial. Thus, the hypothesis that, “??????” is rejected.

LSD:
Compute for LSD: Compare Means:

LSD = 2.262 (0.027483)(
1
60
) T1 vs T2 = 7.85 – 7.77 = 0.08

= 2.262
√√
0.027483
60
= 2.262 0.00045805
T1 vs T3 = 7.85 – 8.15 = 0.30

= 2.262 (0.0214) T2 vs T3 = 7.77 – 8.15 = 0.38

= 0.0484

Interpretation:
The mean difference between Treatments are greater than the computed LSD which means that
the null hypothesis, “that the means are the same” was rejected. In these treatments, there are very high
significant difference as their means are compared. However, among all those treatments, the mean
difference between T1 and T2 showed the least value, hence, T1 and T2 have the Least Significant
Difference.
