ACCEPTABILITY OF TARO-MALUNGGAY COOKIES

Hypothesis

H0: There is a significant difference between the three treatments of Taro crops- Malunggay Cookies.

Objectives of the Study

This study aims to find the Acceptability of Taro crops and Malunggay as cookies. Particularly, this

aims:

1. To assess the sensory attributes (color, taste, aroma, texture, and appearance) of cookies containing taro

crops and malunggay.

2. To produce delightful cookies flavored by taro crops and malunggay.

3. To assess consumer preferences and perceptions towards cookies made from Taro crops and Malunggay

4. To determine the shelf life of Taro crops- Malunggay Cookies.

Interpretation:
In the table above, the computed F value (0.84906) is lower than the critical value (3.885293835)
at 0.05 significance level. This showed that there is a very low significant difference between treatments.
Hence, the null hypothesis, “there is no significant difference between the three treatments of Taro crops-
Malunggay Cookies” is accepted.

LSD: Not applicable.


The test of the Least Significant Difference (LSD) is only used when the null hypothesis is rejected
since it calculates the smallest significant between two means. Since the null hypothesis is accepted, it is
sufficient to assume that the means of the different treatments are the same.
