WBI-2014 (AMC) 据付説明書

この据付説明書は、当社のフィールドエンジニアが据付のために使用するも
のです。お客様が使用し、据付されることは危険ですのでおやめください。

1．カバーの取り外し
（１）据付作業を行う前に必ず本体の電源コードを外してください。
（２）INJ/DET 部カバーをローレットネジ 2 本を外した後、上に引き上げて取り外します。
（３）右カバーを横のネジと背面のネジを外した後、上に引き上げ、その後横に取り外します。
（４）ハイメンカバー（フロコンカバー付き）をネジを外した後、取り外します。
（５）背面下カバーは、ネジを外した後、取り外します。

2．試料気化室の取り付け
（1） 試料気化室は取付け位置１か４の 2 ヵ所
に取付け可能です。但し、取付け位置に
よって取付用 L 型金具の位置が異なるの
で、図 2.1 参照してください。
（2） 取付け位置の断熱材を、試料気化室のブ
ロックの大きさに合わせてカッターな
どで切り取ってください。
（3） 付属の断熱材(S221-48620)を下に敷い
た後、試料気化室を固定位置に挿入して
ください。M4×8 のネジ (S020-46147) 図 2.1 試料気化室取付け位置
にヒラワッシャ(S023-66140-01)を通し
たのち、２点で試料気化室を固定してく
 ださい。このとき試料気化室下部の六角部をオーブン内槽の丸穴にはめてからネジ止めし
てください。また保温カップを取付けてください。
（4） GC-2014 には、標準で、POWER UNIT のヒータコネクタ(温度制御)の４ヶ所が使用でき
ます。使用していないヒータコネクタに試料気化室からのヒータコードを接続してくださ
い。(図 2.2 参照)これらの温度制御がすでに用いられている場合は、AUX 温度制御ユニッ
ト(オプション：S221-48458-41)を追加して、AUX3～5 にヒーターコードを接続してくだ
さい。

3．AMC フローコントローラの取り付け
GC 背面下側 FLOW I/F の空いている位置(図 3.1)に AMC を差込んでネジ止めしてください。

4．配管
図４.１に従って配管してください。
PURGE VENT に接続する配管は、配管オサエイタに固定してください。固定の方向は図４.
２を参照してください。

5．カバーの取り付け
手順２と逆の手順でカバーを取り付けてください。
注記 切り取った断熱材は、必ず保管しておいてください。

6．インストール
追加した試料気化室を GC 画面上でインストールする必要があります。
（１） GC の電源を投入してください。
（２） FUNC ７．サービスメンテナンスを押してください。
① 据付状態設定(位置)において、取付けた試料気化室が SPL と認識していることを確
認し、据付位置の設定を行います（１または４を設定します。）
② 据付状態設定(配管)で、CAR3 の温度制御ポート欄でヒータコネクタを挿したポート
名を選択します。
（３） 一旦電源を off にした後、電源を入れて装置を再起動します。
（４） SET キーを押して、PF2(LINE 構成)でどの DET ユニットとラインを構成するかを設
定します。

7．名称の変更
WBI-2014 と SPL-2014 は同じユニットなので、据え付けただけでは、名称が SPL となって
いるので、名称を WBI に変更してください。
（１） FUNC キーを押した画面で、6.環境設定を選択します。
（２） 6.名称変更を選択し、1.温調制御ポート名称変更を選択します。
 （３） 温調制御ポート名設定の画面で、手順 3 でコネクタを挿した温度制御ポートに対して、
名称を理解しやすいように変更します。（例：WBI 等）
（４） 同様に、4.AUX AMC ポート名称変更を選択します。
（５） AUX AMC ポート名称変更の画面で、使用する AUX AMC のポートに対して、名称を
理解しやすいように変更します。（例:AMC１を CAR、AMC２を PUR 等）
GCsolution をご使用の場合は、GCsolution 側も同様に名称を変更してください。

注記 上記のように名称を変更しても、GC のモニタ画面での INJ ユニットの表示お呼び

サービス・メンテナンスの 1.据付状態設定（位置）における、ユニット認識の表示は SPL
となります。
なお、WBI-2014 の実際の使用方法、分析方法などに付いては GC-2014 本体取扱説明書を御参
照ください。
8．漏れチェック
WBI-2014 の漏れチェックを行い、漏れが規格内であることを確認してください。チェック
方法、規格に付いては本体取扱説明書を参照ください。

INSTALLATION MANUAL

Installation of this unit may be dangerous task. Only qualified

Shimadzu service personnel may install this unit; the user is
prohibited from attempting installation.
This manual is intended solely for the use of Shimadzu service personnel.

１. Removing of covers
(1) The power cable of the main unit must be disconnected before starting installation.
(2) INJ/DET cover: Remove two knurled screws, pull up the cover, and remove it.
(3) Right cover: Remove screws from the right side and rear, pull up the cover, and remove it
in the lateral direction.
(4) Remove the rear cover (with flow control cover) after removing the screws.
(5) Remove the lower rear cover after removing the screws.

２. Mounting the SPL 2014 unit

(1) The injection port unit can be installed
to two locations, 1 or 4. (Refer to Fig.
2.1.)
(2) Cut the thermal insulating material to
the size of injection port unit block at
the mounting position by using a cutter.
(3) Place the attached thermal insulator
(S221-48620) underneath. Then, insert
the injection port unit to a fixing

 position. With two M4×8 screws (S020-46147) through M4 washers (S023-66140-01),
fix injection port unit with two screws. At this time, insert the hexagonal part at the
bottom of the injection port unit into the inside round hole of the oven and fix with screws.
Installed and install the heating cap.
(4) Four temperature controllers, POWER UNIT can be used in standard GC-2014. Connect
the injection port unit heater cable to the heater connector not in use. (Refer to Fig. 2.2)
When all the temperature controllers have already be occupied, mount the temperature
controller (option) and connect heater cable to AUX 3～5.

３. Mounting the AMC unit (Auto-Flow Controller)

Insert the AFC into the SLOT (shown in Fig. 3.1) which is not occupied in the FLOW I/F provided
in the lower position on the rear of the GC.

４. Plumbing
Construct the plumbing according to the flow diagrams of Fig. 4.1.
Fix the piping to be connected to the PURGE VENT to the piping fixing plate. For the fixing
direction, refer to Fig. 4.2.

５. Fitting of covers
Fit the covers according to the reverse procedures of the step 2.
Note The thermal insulating material cut off.

６. Installation
The added injection port must be installed on the GC screen.
(1) Turn on the power of GC.
(2) Press FUNC 7 (Service Maintenance).
① Check that the SPL has been recognized in “Installation (Position)”, and set the
mounting position (select “1” or “4”).
② In the Installation (Piping) screen set the temperature control of CAR3 to the port name
that was connected at step 2.
(3) Turn off the power once then turn on the power to start up the instrument again.
(4) Press SET key and set “PF2” (Line configuration) to select which DET unit should be used
to configure the line.

７. Change of unit name

The WBI-2014 unit is same as SPL-2014 unit. Only after installation, the name remains “SPL”.
Change the name to “WBI”.
 (1) Push FUNC key and select 6 (Configuration).
(2) Select 6 (Port Name Customization) and select 1 (Heater Name Customize).
(3) On the temperature control port name setting screen, change the name of the temperature
control port to which the connector was connected in the step 3 to a name easy to
understand (example: WBI).
(4) Similarly select 4 (AUX AMC Port Name Customize).
(5) On the AUX AMC Port name setting screen, charge the name of the AUX AMC Port to a
name easy to understand (example: CAR, PUR).
When using the GCsolution, change the name in the GCsolution also in the same way.

Note Even if changing the unit name, the icon on the monitor screen is SPL and Type in
Installation (Position) of the Service/Maintenance is SPL.

８. Check for Leakage

After the installation, check for leakage of WBI-2014 and verify that the leakage is within the
specification. For the checking procedure and specification, refer to the instruction manual for
the main unit.
