1. AIRPLANES WITH FORWARD AND AFT ENTRY / SERVICE DOORS:


There are four entry / service doors, two on each side of the airplane. The left doors are entry
doors and the right doors are service doors.

2. AIRPLANES WITH FORWARD, MID AND AFT ENTRY / SERVICE DOORS:


There are six entry / service doors, three on each side of the airplane. The left doors are entry
doors and the right doors are service doors.

3. The forward or mid entry doors can be operated electrically or manually. All of the other
entry / service doors are operated manually only.

TEXT 2 Oxygen System


Control

Oxygen flow, from the cylinder, is controlled by a shutoff valve on the cylinder neck. Oxygen flow,
from each mask, is controlled by a switch and a knob on each regulator. For normal operation, put
the selector switch to NORMAL and the emergency knob OFF. For 100 percent oxygen mode, put
the selector switch to 100% and the emergency knob OFF. For emergency oxygen mode, put the
selector switch to 100% and the emergency knob ON.

A. Trimmable Horizontal Stabilizer Description


The THS is installed in a large cut at the fuselage tail section. It is connected to the fuselage at
three points. The connecting points are at the THS actuator and at the two hinge points on
either side of the fuselage.

B. PRIMARY STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS


The primary structural components of the THS are the LH and RH spar boxes and the center
joint. All other components are attached to the LH and RH spar boxes.
