AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE MANUAL
S OBJECTIVE:
-- to provide instructions for aircraft maintenance on Line and in the Hangar or Service
Center.
-- to provide instructions to functionally check and repair the aircraft and its systems
during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
S Manuals are written according to Air Transport Association Specification 100 -- ATA 100.
S There are two types of technical manuals or maintenance publications:
-- Customized Manuals: prepared for the specific operator (each Airline):

-- Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Illustrated Parts Catalog, Wiring Diagram Manual,
Power Plant Buildup Manual, B.I.T.E. Manual.

-- Noncustomized Manuals: prepared by the Aircraft manucturer for all operators:
-- Overhaul Manual, Structural Repair Manual, Illustrated Tool and Equipment Manual,
